The FANN was created in 1997 to promote the artful depiction of the human form in the medium of photography. Since that time, it has become one of the web's major portals for those searching for fine art nudes.

Many sites have attempted to imitate the success of the FANN, but most have fallen victim to a bloated list of glamour and sometimes outright pornographic sites. The FANN has no interest in commercial or not commercial sites, which could be classified as nude glamour, girl-next-door or porn. We wish to put quality before the quantity of sites, which we list.

We are interested in original sites that put the 'art' of the nude before all else. We are particularly interested in new photographers and new creative sites.

All submitted sites reviewed and best sites are selected and featured on our main pages.

Here are a few tips as to what we are not looking for:

• Please submit sites related to Photography or Art only.
• We do not list adult sites, or sites with links or banners to adult sites.
• We are looking for attractive clean and uncluttered design. Sites covered with banners and logos will not make the list.
• We are most interested in listing those sites which have original or unique work and that are updated regularly.
• In exchange for this free listing we ask you to place just a small text link to our site (http://www.fineartnude.com/) on a main page or a links page of your web site. This will greatly increase the chance of your site being listed. Please have your reciprocal link in place before you fill out the form to submit your site.
